Multidisciplinary designer and marketer
My journey into ceramics and jewellery began later in life, when I realised how much I missed crafting while working in a corporate office. Over time, what started as a hobby to reconnect with my creative side, became an essential part of me.
I’ve always been fascinated by craft and tradition, and I find great beauty in everyday objects. In my work, I create a blend of functional stoneware and porcelain ceramics, as well as jewellery made from solid precious metals and other natural materials. I’m especially drawn to the lost-wax technique in jewellery making, as it feels similar to working with clay and offers endless possibilities for design.
All of my pieces are handmade in The Netherlands, where I focus on creating high-quality, unique items that bring beauty and craftsmanship into everyday life.
Pottery residency in Icheon, South Korea
This spring, I will be taking part in a learning residency in Icheon, South Korea. This immersive experience is designed for ceramic artists and students who wish to deepen their skills, focusing on traditional Korean ceramic techniques. Under the guidance of master Kwak Kyung Tae, I’ll be expanding my wheel throwing practice, while also exploring new skills alongside fellow residents and the supportive team at Toroo Atelier.
